Teeth Whitening

It is natural for your teeth to darken or discolor over time. Factors that also lead to discoloration include the consumption of certain foods, beverages (coffee, tea, red wine) and tobacco. The use of certain childhood or adult medications or improper oral hygiene can also darken teeth. We can suggest a number of whitening options to brighten your smile.

At Dynamic Dental, we have a selection of industry-approved options for you.

One option is the use of a gentle hydrogen-peroxide gel-activated solution. With this method, you will get a whiter smile in just one visit. We also offer a 20-minute in-office laser whitening for immediate results and with virtually no sensitivity following the procedure.

Veneers

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from porcelain that are used to improve the appearance of your teeth or to correct flaws. They are typically attached to the front of a tooth and permanently bonded.

Veneers are used for:

• Spaces between teeth

• Chipped or broken teeth

• Stained or discolored teeth

• Misaligned or misshapen teeth

Veneers are long-lasting and can be applied in only two office visits.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are metal posts or frames attached to the jawbone to enable a dentist to secure artificial tooth replacements for missing or lost teeth. These are used in situations where there are not suitable adjacent teeth to create a secure attachment. We can offer you a number of implant procedures customized to your individual needs:

• Single tooth replacement

• Anterior replacement

• Posterior replacement

• Full upper replacement

Implants are generally used when ordinary bridges or dentures are not suitable or for people who have trouble adjusting to them.

Post Implant Care

After a patient has received an implant, proper oral hygiene is especially important. When teeth and gums are not properly cleaned, bacteria can invade sensitive areas in the mouth causing gums to swell and jaw bones to gradually recede, making it necessary to remove the implant. When properly maintained, implants can last for decades.  We recommend a visit to us twice a year after the procedure.

Composite Bonding

Dental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored plastic or resin is applied to the tooth, molded to the desired shape, and hardened with a special ultra-violet light or laser.

Bonding is an option for:

• Repairing chipped or cracked teeth,

• Closing gaps or spaces between teeth,

• Improving the appearance of discolored or faded areas on a tooth.

Advantages of composite bonding include:

• It takes less than one hour to apply a bond.

• It is less expensive than other methods.

• It removes less of the existing tooth than other methods such as veneers or crowns.

• You can often get a better match to your existing teeth, making it look more natural.

Composite bonds generally don’t last as long and are not as strong as veneers or or crowns. They also stain more easily, requiring regular brushing and flossing to maintain their color. Coffee, tea, tobacco, foods and candy can often stain composite bonds.
